Josh Allen Jersey — St. Jude Raffle (2024)

A framed Josh Allen jersey will be raffled at St. Jude Church on September 7th (2024) after the 5 p.m. Mass.

Tickets are available now and will be available until the drawing for $10 for one and $25 for three chances.

Tickets will be sold after Masses during July and August (2024) or email Kathy Kreis.

School Supply Donations (2024)

Paper and Pencils Together is a school supply ministry of Love INC and is supported by our church.

All donations will help students in the Springville elementary and middle schools.

Please check the poster in the foyer (Editor’s note: this probably refers to St. Aloysius church foyer), choose one or more items to purchase, and deposit items in the basket under the table by Sunday, August 11th (2024).

Evangelization Opportunities: Alpha (2024)

Do you know someone who is away from the Church?

Consider inviting them to Alpha where a meal, a video and an information discussion will raise some of the basic teachings of the Catholic faith. To learn more about Alpha, visit https://alphausa.org.

Alpha will begin locally in September 2024. Some of the topics of Alpha are:

  • Who is Jesus?
  • Why Pray?
  • Why read the Bible?
  • Does God guide us?
  • Does evil exist?
  • Does God heal today?

These sessions are conducted in an informal gathering of food, video, discussion. Pray for those whom you feel will benefit from Alpha.

  • Dates: Tuesdays, September 17 – December 3, 2024 (except November 5)
  • Time: 6:00 pm – 7:45 pm
  • Location: St. Jude Parish Hall, 12820 Genesee Rd, Sardina NY

National Conference for Single Catholics (2024)

The National Conference for Single Catholics (NCSC), which takes place in a different part of the country each year, will be held at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas, NV from August 16-18, 2024.

The conference is organized by Anastasia Northrop, a longtime promoter of John Paul II’s work and message.

For the last 20 years, her conferences have been welcomed in dioceses across the United States, with support from the local ordinaries and bishops of neighboring dioceses.

The conference normally draws 350-500+ attendees from over 40 states, as well as internationally.

The Servant Sisters of the Visitation wish to thank Father Dan Fawls and the staff and the parishioners of St. Mary’s Parish for your generous support of Sr. Rubi and the Servant Sisters of the Visitation, serving the poor of the Philippines in Eastern Samar.

The Sisters assure you that together with your prayers and the mercy of God, they will be good stewards of your gifts to Jesus in the disguise of these children and poor families whom they serve.
