Fall 2021 Religious Ed. to be Home-Schooled

Posted: September 30, 2021

The following is an edited excerpt from the bulletin of October 3, 2021.

Our Religious Education Program was scheduled to begin on October 10th, but I have heard from some families who have chosen to home school their children again this year. Not all of our teachers are coming back to teach this year and some families are wondering about the safety of our children wearing a mask and not able to be vaccinated. So, what shall we do?!

After many days of prayer, I believe we should, once again this year, choose to home school our children for the safety of all. Miss Karen Pauly will help the parents, as she did last year, with the home schooling materials. She will be in touch with all the families that have already registered. If you have not registered yet and were planning on doing so at the first session, please call Karen. Her phone number is on the front of the bulletin.

Golden, Diamond and Platinum Marriage Anniversaries

Posted: August 27, 2021

The following is taken from an announcement which originally appeared in the bulletin for August 15, 2021.

It is my privilege to invite couples who celebrate their 50th, 60th, and 70th wedding anniversaries and other significant anniversaries within their own parish families. In this way we will be joined in prayer asking God to keep married couples faithful in their love for each other, so that they may be more and more of one mind and heart.

We will celebrate their Golden, Diamond and Platinum Anniversaries of Marriage in 2021 at a special Mass at St. Joseph ‘s Cathedral on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. On this day the entire Diocese of Buffalo will join those celebrating their 50th, 60th, and 70th anniversaries in their joy and gratitude to God who has set them among us as a sign of His constant and faithful love.

Please contact Father Joe at (585) 492-5330 if interested in attending.
