2026 Pilgrimage to Poland

Posted: October 8, 2025

Due to the interest of so many parishioners from our family of parishes and others, Fr. Jozef would like to organize another Pilgrimage to Poland from August 31 to September 9, 2026.

Our last Pilgrimage was very good, safe, and extremely enjoyable for all who attended.

This time we will visit some new cities, shrines and churches as well.

The tour will include:

  • Baltic Sea cities such as Gdańsk and Sopot, Toruń where Polish astronomer and mathematician Mikołaj Kopernik (Nicolaus Copernicus) was born.
  • Toruń is also famous for its magnificent medieval architecture, historical monuments, and its Gothic Old Town with its stunning cathedrals.
  • Gniezno, the first capital of Poland and a key site for the spread of Christianity beginning in 966.
  • Wrocław; Kraków – the second capital and most famous cultural city of Europe, the shrine of Częstochowa; and Warsaw, the present capital and largest city in Poland.

The total cost per person will be approximately $3,700 including round trip airfare (from Buffalo) and lodging.

Exact itinerary and cost will be provided in December 2025.

If interested in taking part in this exceptional experience, please contact Sandi Smith via email at: SmithSandraG [at] gmail [dot] com, or by telephone. (Please see bulletin of October 5, 2025 for contact information.)

If we receive a good response we will proceed with further planning.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to preregister.

The Better We Know Mary, the Better We Will Know Her Son

Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother is an extraordinary pilgrimage that reveals Mary’s unique role in God’s kingdom and in our lives.

Filmed on location in the Holy Land, Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother will place you in the midst of the powerful drama of her earthly life, taking you through her joys … and her sorrows.

You will learn how she works in our lives today, drawing us ever closer to her divine Son.

Seeing Mary in this way will change you forever.

Mary will become a part of your daily life, and in your daily life, you will become more like Christ.

All our parishioners, friends, and those who are not members of the Catholic Church community are invited to learn about the Bible, led by Fr. Jozef Dudzik.

This special Bible study group will be comprised of a series of 8 sessions, and will take place at 6:30 pm on the following Tuesdays in 2025:

  • October 7, 14, 21, 28 (2025)
  • November 25 (2025)
  • December 2, 9, 16 (2025)

All sessions will be held at St. Mary’s Church Parish Center (417 W. Main Street, Arcade, NY).

Cost of materials is $35.00 (one per family is sufficient), and may be paid at the first session.

PLEASE JOIN US! Please register by email to SmithSandraG [at] gmail.com, or contact Barbara at St. Mary’s Parish Office (585-492-5330 Monday and Thursday, 9am-2pm).

UPDATE: Registration ends September 29, 2025 in order to receive materials on time.
