March for Life (2022)

Posted: December 31, 2021

National March For Life, Washington D.C. Thursday, Jan 20 through Jan 23, 2022

Join others from the Archdiocese (and thousands from across the country) at the National March for Life in Washington DC, from January 20 ?- 23rd, 2022! This will be an opportunity to share our voice as a local community in prayer and action for the legal protection of the unborn. We look forward to meeting together as an Archdiocesan group and participating in March for Life events in DC.

Individuals, couples and families are welcome to join — together, let’s stand for the unborn!

The above is a reprinted, slightly edited version of text which appeared in the bulletin of December 26, 2021.

New Mask Guidelines (Winter 2021)

Posted: December 14, 2021

Effective Monday, December 13, 2021: Due to a new New York State mask mandate, masks will now be required for all liturgy participants. The exception to this rule will be clergy/liturgical ministers when fulfilling their speaking roles.

As previously, please note the following passage from a Diocese of Buffalo document:

If a person does not feel well, has a temperature greater than or equal to
100°, or is experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they should
stay home and seek medical attention.

When present in church, all participants should:
— Exercise coughing/sneezing etiquette;
— Limit what they touch;
— Limit personal contact such as hugging and hand shaking
— Wash hands properly and often.
