There will be one Mass on Monday August 15th, 2022 in Arcade at 8:30 a.m. (Arcade Worship Site.)

The second Road to Renewal Diocesan Mass will be held on Sunday, August 28th, 2022 at the Basilica of Mary of the Angels, 202 South Union Street, Olean, NY 14760.
Rosary procession will begin at 2:45 p.m., with Mass celebrated by Bishop Mike at 3:00 p.m.
All are invited and encouraged to attend.

Second Collection at all Masses this weekend! (August 13-14, 2022.)
Sister Rubi Arellano, a Missionary of the Servant Sisters of the Visitation, will speak to us about her missionary work. The Sisters of the Visitation are missionary Sisters who work around the world and specifically in Eastern Samar, Philippines. The second collection this weekend (August 13-14, 2022) will be for the Missions of her ministry.
We welcome Sister Rubi to our parish!

The P.A.C. Food Pantry could use donations!
They are low on cereal, rice, personal care products and snacks for their Kid Packs (granola bars, etc.).
Boxes are still available in the church vestibule at both worship sites.

St. Mary’s Lawn Fete, Take-Out/Drive-Thru Chicken BBQ, Basket Raffle & Grand Prize Drawing!
When: Sunday, August 7, 2022.
Where: East Arcade Worship Site (6785 East Arcade Road, Arcade, NY 14009).
Chicken dinners available at 11:30 a.m. until sold out!
Chicken Barbecue Dinner is $14.00 which includes 1/2 chicken, dinner roll with butter, two sides, a cookie and a bottle of water.
Drive Thru and Park To Eat on grounds will enter at the Cemetery Driveway. Drive Thru will proceed around the back of the cemetery and pick up dinners at the Pavilion (line will be marked). People wanting to stay on grounds to eat and play/visit will enter the same way and follow sign for parking.
Outdoor seating will be available under the Pavilion for anyone who would like to eat on the grounds and visit with friends and family. (Please note: While one bulletin mentioned seating under a tent, plans have changed and all seating will be under the Pavilion.)
Two children’s games will be available for the little ones to play!
Ice Cream Stand will be set up under the Pavilion!
Basket Raffle and Grand Drawing will take place under the Pavilion! Raffles will take place at 4:00 p.m.
Additional Grand Drawing Tickets are available in the vestibule of both worship sites this weekend, and will be available under the Pavilion on the day of the Lawn Fete & Chicken BBQ.

Every parish and other institution will host a Day of Prayer throughout the Diocese’s Anniversary Year. This is a time to give thanks for our faith and to pray for others, for the Church, our parishes, for vocations, peace, and for many other needs. St. Mary’s Parish Day of Prayer is this Thursday, June 30th (2022). The day will begin with daily Mass at 8:30 a.m. (Arcade Worship Site) followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. All are welcome to join us for Mass and/or private prayer throughout the day.

WACY News: Help us to honor Father Jim Fugle! Father Jim was an example of how to walk with Jesus, even in his suffering. We want to honor his life and faith. We are asking for donations to go towards a hand-engraved stone “The Road to Emmaus” for Father Jim’s gravesite.
Families of Wyoming Association for Catholic Youth — WACY — are collecting tax deductible donations until August 1st, 2022. Any extra funds will be placed in a Scholarship Fund in Father Jim’s name. Tax deductible gifts can be made to WACY (with “Father Jim’s Stone” in the memo).

Many parishioners have asked if we are having our annual Lawn Fete and Chicken BBQ this year. After prayerful thought, I want to let you know that we will have the Lawn Fete Chicken BBQ, Grand Drawing Raffle and a Basket Raffle on the first Sunday of August (2022).
